He's done more for Montreal than both Koivu and Souray, but they have a shot at going and he doesn't. The voting for the All-Star Game should happen a little later in the season so players with a slow start can still have a shot.

It's the fans who are voting. He's a low key guy and not a charismatic one. He just lets his saves do the talking. I'd rather have the GMs or player vote.

Like a lot of the other answers note you can right him in. One interesting fact is the Canadiens turn in a list to the league offices (each team lists their respective All Star candidates) and apparently they opted against turning in Huets name. You would have to look up the collective bargaining agreement to be sure but I believe teams are allowed so many slots based on a certain criteria that includes the teams record from the season before. That is why some teams have more players listed on the ballot and some have less.

You can easily vote for him, just put him in the write in spot. You all have to remember that there are tons of really good players in the NHL and not everyone is going to make it to the All Star Game. I do agree with you though that he is having a good year so far.

What are you talking about "Ask Cam Ward about last year"? There wasn't even an All Star Game last year...

Why have voting if you want fairness? Huet is the best but that is no criteria for idiot fans who vote based on rep.

The All-Star game is only a popularity contest and has little to do with performance. Ask Cam Ward about last year..It's about ticket sales and merchandise..
