Current government is led by Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala.

He is choosen (backed) by the parliament (mainly the seven party allaiance). The parliament, which was dissolved, was reinstated because of the uprising of the peoples movement and at the same time the king stepped down.

You asked what is the current goverment of nepal...

This government was not appointed by king.
This government is a collation of seven parties.
Other two parties which were in parliament is not represented.

Till now the rebels are not in the government.
The current government is planning to bring the rebels into the mainstream and into the government.

It's a kingdom. The current monarch is brother of the late king who was murdered, along with most of the royal family, by a crown prince several years ago.
