should i get my ears pierced?

Question

right now i'm 14 .i got my ears pierced when i was 9 but they got infected and grew back.i haven't pierced them since.Should i??every seems to have pierced ears at my school.some even think it wierd that i don't.

hi honey, 14 years old, huh.......well i think i would definately let my 14 year old daughter get her ears pierced. but you have to be very careful and keep them really clean until they heal. i used neosporin and hydrocortisone cream to heal my ears. and it worked just fine. and you know what ?? just think of all the pretty earrings that you can wear to match your outfits or just go for gold and/or silver. you should probably just wear gold plated earrings at 1st because anything else may cause your ears to break out and be crusty or runny. that is what happened to me when i 1st got my ears pierced........good luck to you, what ever you decide to do.

Don't pierce your ears just because everyone else is...only do it if you want to.

I love earrings...you can find so many cute ones! They are a fun way to accessorize.

I wouldn't pierce your cartilage because you can get infections too easily. Also, you can't wear dangly earrings in your cartilage.

If you like being different and set apart stay that way. You don't have to conform because of others. There is great ear jewelry that is not for pierced but for everyone. ......Go have fun with it!!

actually get your ears pierced if you want but dont go and get it done with a gun, go to an actuall body piercer, its safer and less risk of infection when u get it done with a gun the skin doesnt come out it actually explodes width wise into your ear lobe, sounds gross but my friend is a professional body piercer and this is what she told me!

go for it. of course..get ur parents permision first. but do it. just take really good care of it. go to a good place. i got my second holes done at walmart, cuz i was cheap. they kept getin infected. and they only closed half way, one side is open , the other closed. this is like four years ago. the other day, a bunch of pus poped out of one of the wholes. be very very careful. even if you gotta pay a few extra dollars, its worth it. good luck

ear piercings are awesome....

but don't get it done if others want you to have it though

make sure to get it done at a CLEAN piercing place, you can get really bad infections etc. otherwise

YES!!!! they are really fun if you take care of them.and there are so many cool earrings to pick from.right now i'm wearing poppy seed earrings but they are mixed with other colors and a diamond in the middle!COOL!

The same thing happened to me. I got them repierced and they never got infected again. Try it again...earrings are fun!

I don't think you should get your lobe pierced. Try you cartilage. Make sure you clean them so it will not get infected.
