For web browsers like Internet Explorer:
at the top of the browser it says "Tools".
Click Internet Options
Click that and click Delete Files.
You may desire to Delete Cookies too !!

One of the things that I have also done is a tad more complicated, but not by much.:
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab > place a check mark in the box "Empty Temporary Internet Folder when browser is closed"
It's not 100 per cent, but it is a step in the right direction.

What cache ?!? The Browsers ??
Do a search on the web for " clean cache", if you are using firefox there is a configuration for it, if you are using IE even if you go to the configuration and ask for a cleanup there will be traces left on the machine, of what you have been doing (but it will clean some space)

If you are referring to the Windows XP temporary files, just go to:
Start > Run
type:
%temp%
Remove all the files there.

Download clean cache from http://www.buttuglysoftware.com You should also download and install net frameworks 1.1 from MS before you install clean cache
