does anyone think marijuana should be legalized? why or why not? and do u think it will ever happen?

Definitely. Alcohol & tobacco cause far more problems and they are both legal. The only reason marijuana is not legal is that the government makes too much money off of it.

I think that marijuana should be legalized, It is not like the drug makes you incompatent or anything. You still can drive and live a normal life. See I see this way cigarettes should be illegal and marijuana should be legal because cigarettes are more hazdorous to the body. Will it ever happen I don't think so, see then the government will loose money if it becames legal. Don't you know they are the number 1 contrubitor to the world.

Marijuana should be legalized. The small amount of harm marajuana does to the individual and society does not warrent it being illegal. Prohabition and being illegal is making the drug more appealing and expensive and creating profit for criminals.
Given the popularity of marijuana too many people would have to be jailed to fight marijuana use making the law ineffective.

Las Vegas already legalized it.
I dont think you cant smoke it right out in public -- not sure on that -- but if you get stoppped carrying a small amount, its okay.
my opinion is since its not one of the drugs that makes people act out in violence, then it should be treated the same as cigerrettes. Cigerretttes is a knon drug that cause dependency, with proven harmful side effects.
Control it, tax it, package it, and think about it....would help the food industry. whats the one thing everyone does after they smoke pot. Munchies!!!

No marijuana should not be legalized. This is a mind alternating drug and should not be legalized. If it did become legal what's next crack, meth and herion. Would you want your child, parent or love one in public while someone was smoking weed/crack or injecting herion/meth. Think about!
