You need to be around people who will acknowledge your presence and make you feel like you belong.
Let them go to hell!!! Find new friends who make you feel like you are a part of something.

You should find new friends who appreciate you for who you are. I have been in that situation with so-called friends, and it is humiliating. It's better to be alone or with one good friend than a group of people who don't even acknowledge you. If they keep asking you why you don't hang out with them anymore, tell them the truth, that you don't like the feeling of being invisible.

Honey, I'm going through this right now. I know you feel like an outcast and that's not your fault. This is all on your friends. If they cared so much to ask you why you stopped hanging with them they probably already know they were in the wrong. Don't let the group dictate who you are or make you change to conform to them. Be your own person.

Hmm that pretty much covers my early higschool years. Well more like freshmen-junior year. I hated it when we had to do group work and no one would listen to what I had to say...only the beautiful perfect girl. Anyways I finally got to the point where I didnt want to feel this anymore so I found people who wanted to hear what I had to say who liked me for me. Tell your friends that you feel like what you have to say doesnt matter. They dont care if it took them this long to see something is wrong. Find new friends and save yourself the pain it will cause in the long run

I hate that feeling, yet it still happens sometimes. I've been to school most of my life, which makes me different because I understand more. that don't make me any better than anybody else, yet they don't want to enclued me for some reason. I just go to find people that I can talk to, and have fun with. I hope thi helps you with your problem.

I have had that feeling, yea it sucks. Try not talking as much, then when you do say something it will be heard. There's reasoning behind that, think about it.
