Because they're lazy and it's easier to ask, though why they think the answers they get would be correct, I'll never know.
It's the end of the world as we know it...

Because they are lazy, think that people will summarise wikipedia for them, and prefer the easy way out (cheating!!!).
Some of the blame lies on teachers who want kids and teens to learn History like it was some piece of dead data instead of an interpretation of the past that must be thought and criticized in order to understand ourselves and our present.
I teach history at high school as a volunteer instead of full-time teacher and I force kids to take a side on issues instead of teaching what some book says are the so-called "reasons" why X,Y, or Z happened and the exact dates and geographies devoid of context.

I could never read the book, couldnt focus on in school had to hear it to learn anything. But some teens jsut procrastinate. I am sure we all ahve and coming on here is the best and quickest way they can think to get answers to their homework usually due tommorrow done.

we're lazy. you said it yourself, its a stupid book. we dont want to read it.
to turn this around, why do you get on here and complain about us? how does it affect you?
at least we care enough about our futures to copy the answers, instaed of being like, screw this, i'll take a zero!
i do think those questions should be in the Homework Help section, but thats beside the point.

A lot of questions you didn't learn in class, and your teacher asks you to find the answer by tomorrow and then you'll discuss it.
