Firstly, mp3 files are already compressed. That is what they are, compressed audio.

Secondly, you can not do it on your phone. You will need to re-encode the mp3 from your PC. Look for an app/tool called DBPowerAmp to do this

MP3s are already highly compressed. You need to re-rip them at a lower bitrate to get the files smaller. 64 is fine for most phones.

you need to have a converter software so that you can conevert the cd songs into mp3 you could check out at the computer shop to look for it .
