wow, you gotta be amazing if you took the PG spot and are slow. Here are some things to make you faster. Run long distance suchas 3 mile runs. Also in those runs (as another workout) do fartliks which are running like sprints then jogging the sprinting etc. Also stretch alot and do leg workouts in the weight room. A good sprinting workout on the court are doing up downs (up and down, up and down) under 22 seconds you should be working to. Im one of the fastet on my team and can do 5 laps up and down isa bout 20 seconds. Good luck!

ok first of all, you cant suck if you got a starting spot (whoever the hell said that), second of all, using the ankle weights is actually extremely bad for your knees becuase of the added weight upon impact. I am actually a physical therapist and you have no idea how many permanent knee injuries i see because of the ankle weight method. the best way would be to build up your gastrocnemius muslces (calves) by doing toe lifts with weight on your shoulders (no more than 100 lbs). once your calves are built up then you wont have to worry about getting shin splints and can push your legs even more on the court.

listen stupid there are many ways to improve your speed. i know because I'm a soccer player. one way is to work out your thighs with weight, another way is to put ankle weights on your ankle and do sprints, another way is to get a running para-shoot and sprint while having it on. or if you are too damn and can't afford to buy these things (because they are very expensive) then run up some high hill. PS: by the way if you say that you are the best in your team then why are you slow. i think that maybe your team sucks very bad and you suck Little (but maybe you suck alot). but anyways these options will work.

work on your cardio by running, jogging, or swiming. Start slow and gradually progress. You will build up more long capacity and be faster. Maybe if you also work on flexibility by stretching you will move faster and have faster reflexes, which is essential in basketball. Good luck
