i planned a huge partyy for xmas, where everyone is invited. it's a joint partyy with a good friend. One problem. i have spent the last few days with this friend, planning it. i dont think its a problem. She's really close and ive always hung around her. but my best friend is a problem. She is always trying to start a fight with me and talking about to my other friends. She says the partyy is a scam to become popular. but i'm already really good friends with the popular girls. Ive known most of them before middle school. and ive always been invited to their parties and get togethers. so i dont need to use this party. and i wouldnt want to. is my bestfriend just jealous or am i doing something wrong?
please nothing mean i just really want to know.

You are not doing anything wrong. It sounds to me as if your BF is a little jealous and upset because you are doing something with someone other then her. Don't let her get to you, just let her know that if she can not control herself and act like a BF and be supportive then you don't need her to be at your party. Not trying to be mean but the purpose of a party is to have fun and you can't do that if you are constantly defending yourself and your other friends to her.

Well it sounds like your friend could be two faced since she is talking crap behind your back. I take it that you are in highschool? Man friendship and finding real friends can be hard work because at one time you think that your bestfriend is really your bestfriend and before you know it they leave you and find someone else. I think that your friend is jealous and wishes that she could establish the same status and you have acquired over your years in highschool. I think she is down playing you to make others turn their back on you and like her more. Be very careful you dont want to get stabbed to badly in the back by a so called friend. Friends may come and go but your real friends are going to bring you up and not down.

Best friends should be there to lift you up not putting you down. have a talk with her to see if there is something wrong and to tell her you don't appreciate what she is dong. If she doesn't quit her behaviour i would ditch her and hang out with your other friends and have the partyy without her. don't let what she says put you down. have your partyy girl!!

She sounds like she has a problem and is jealous of you..ignore her thoughts and have the party and have fun, don't let her spoil your party....if I were you I'd talk to her less..she doesn't sound like a friend ...that you need around..
