For computer to do it, I would have been thinking a short in the PC's power supply, for two, no way. I am guessing your computers are connect via the same point of double adapter somewhere and have a suspision that there is a break in the Earth within the cables or adapter somewhere.
This means the chasis of your computer will not discharge and slowly creap up to high voltages over time, even though the PC's are not on.

Your computers problems are easy to diagnose but can never be fixed by u. Your computers obviously have ATD, or Anti- Tard Detection. There is no way to stop this, but to become a not dee-dee-dee. I suggest that u at least invest in a surge protector, it won't help the problem, but at least you haave something to blame it on.

You might have had a power strip catch on fire. Or else your wiring in your home is garbage and you had a short circuit.
