You know, you should just the way I did when I was in highschool. To tell you the truth I was scared to death to walk up to people and start talking. I thought that they would just not get me or just think that I was stupid or think they hated me for just being me. One of the things that I did to make myself talk to people was join yearbook. I knew that this was a class that was going to make me talk to people that I didnt know. It helped me alot. Also another thing that I did was come up with ideas of things that I would like to talk about with people and in my head I would talk to the person and come up with ideas of what I could say and how I would say it. Just be yourself and go with it. If the person doesnt like you, who gives a rats *** because you will be able to find people who enjoy talking to you for being you!

Approach with a friendly aura and people will talk to you naturally. Don't be self conscious about it...just be free-spirited so that they feel comfortable around you. Smiling helps too, don't worry man, if you do all this, they'll approach you. Works for me ALL the time.

That's something I'd like to know. I suppose you'd get some kind of job where you need to socialise. It will get you more confident.

Tell yourself WHY you want to. That should help.
