You need to talk to a professional. What you are doing is causing yourself physical pain because you are unable to express emotions. When you cut yourself you finally feel something - right? I've talked to lots of cutters, therapy does help.

You need to replace the cutting with some other "healthier" behavior. Try journaling when the urge to cut comes over you. Draw the "cuts" with a magic marker where you would normally cut. Take a COLD bath to get the "shock" you feel when you cut. Hope this helps. Overall, seek help from a therapist.

Listen, what you are going through is very difficult, and its ok to feel scared, worried, and upset. Your cutting on the outside is to mask the pain you feel inside. Your cutting behavior is a choice that fits this specific need to deal with the feeling inside. To stop cutting, the first step is to get professional help from a therapist. Through the guidance and options provided by professionals, you will be able to develop new coping mechanisms to better deal with your feelings, rather than engage in cutting behaviors. Consider enrolling in group sessions with individuals who also currently, or in the past, engaged in cutting and self-injurious behaviors. You are not alone, there is help available, and you are worth it. Your quality of life, you internal peace, and your future is worth getting help. Only you can make the choice. Good Luck, and remember, you are worth it !!

there have been quite a few questions on this subject on here as of late. it scares me to think that so many are abusing their bodies to run from their emotional pain. i know it is hard. but you will have to talk to someone...anyone you trust in this matter. you need a real emotional release. you need to get to the core (root) of the problem that is making you self mutilate. this often can only be achieved my seeking therapy with a licensed therapist or other doctor. i hope you can do this. if money is an issue, most communities have a counseling center that offers free or reduced rates for those who qualify. good luck my friend. i have been there.

Giggles u need to talk about whats really inside you. Dont hold it inside. Find a friend or family member taht you really trust and talk to them about how you are feeling inside. The cutting thing isnt the real problem, the real problem is whats truely bothering nd frustrating u from the inside. let it out please:(. If you found no one u can email me and talk about it through email. Im a good listener and i wont judge u

Stop looking for attention, if you really cut yourself(because of pain) you wouldnt brag about it. Your just looking for attention and if you EVER wanted to stop you can just take the razor a way. Your disgracing people who actually have "real" emotional pain
