I have been there before and trust me you do not want to go there. Have you heard the expression of curiosity killed the cat. Well here is my story. When my dad was a teenager he would tamper with the devil and play the wigie board. He would always do it after school with his friends and on a halloween night they asked it when they were going to die. He didnt dare ask that question but his friends did. Then two years later two of his friends died. Those friends of his said that they dont want to play with the devil anymore so they went to church. On thier way to church a semi-truck smashed into the side thier car and they were crushed like little bugs. After that little incident my dad decided to threw his wigie board away and the next morning he woke up and it was at the end of his bed. That freaked him out so bad that he drove all the way to the forest to burn it. The same case happened to my uncle except his friend Josh Loves loved to play with the wigie board. And this guy Josh Loves(family friend) had lived in a haunted house at the time and he asked the wigie board if there was any ghosts in his house and the wigie board replied many 2 many. That same night at exactly 3:00 A.M he woke up and felt like this massive entity sitting at the end of his bed and his bed was being pressed down. He thought someone broke into his house and was standing on his bed so he tried jumping out of his bed to knock him out but he couldnt move. After 10 minutes of being held down the entity finnaly let go. So that is my story and please dont get into that kind of stuff haunts me today every single night. I always hear scratching noises on my wall and we have a room were sometimes my mom is working at night on our computer and she sees the shadow of a very tall man standing next to her for like five seconds. It is very scary and in fact I am in that room right now. Please dont tamper with that kind of stuff because you will regret it. So please put my mind at ease knowing that one less person is being haunted.

Get on the web and find out if there are any New Age - Pagan or Witchcraft stores in your area. Most of these places have information about local people who teach methods of getting into contact with your spirit guides. Don't bother with the ouija board you won't find your spirit guide there. Shakti Gawaine has some good guided meditations for this you might want to check Amazon.com or ebay for these. Good luck in your search. My spirit guide says that if you are persistant you will find what you want and need.

I find that living consciously and nourishing your spirit is a good start. Guides can come through in so many ways. Spend lots of time meditating and visualising. Some people use stream of consciousness writing to ask questions to their guides or Muse. There are some great books out there that can help you, too. (My friend swears by the books by psychic Alison Dubois.) Another way is to start to be open to 'messages': from the people you come into contact with, symbols, in dreams etc. There are some great weekend retreats/workshops. Surround yourself with inspiring, spiritual people. The more you hone your focus, you will be amazed at the synchronicities and amazing opportunities that pop up in your life. Best of luck as you open to your true potential! x

You would have to locate a medium, someone who lives in this world, but has contact with those who have gone over. There are a lot of charlatans out there, so be careful who you choose. Also, be very cautious who and what you contact. Not all spirits are good and some evil spirits appear to be good and are not. You need someone who knows the difference.

1) learn to meditate;
2) research ways of defocusing your conscious mind, grounding, etc;
3) look at varieties of meditation, mandala, the fountain;
4) research Astral Projection and Lucid Dreaming.

Most Media (lol!) find that they must be in a defocused, low energy condition to contact and receive messages from the other side, but must find a way, after they are done with a session, to re-energize and ground out the conflicting energies.

Go to a witchcraft store and you'll find books to show you how to communicate with the other side. Or a psychic eye book store

Believe, you can do anything if you believe, what happens is the more you practice the more out of touch with reality you become, and these things become more and more real to you.
If you do a little research on magic websites you can find books on the art of cold reading and psychic abilities sorry its all a trick.

The first place I started was by going to a local Spiritualist church. I would recommend you start that way too. Good luck.
