I am equally comfortable in either role
I head up my own company and in that position am most definantly expected to lead--- I also hold board positions with two major charitable corporations and in those positions am expected to follow suit with the chairman's directions as well as head up projects within the organizations quite regularly---I am also the primary spokesman for a very active political action group---and in that job I am expected to follow the desires of the group in what I present to the people I am engaged with on any particular action----Personally , I feel that any individual that desires to lead -- must exemplify some very strong capabilities as a follower as well--- because it is in the carrying out other people's plans that any individual learns best ---what works in the trenches and what doesn't !!!

To be a true leader is to be neither follower nor leader. To know you can is totally different than thinking, or commanding others to follow you. Followers always look for direction, normally associated with dysfunctional people. The followers will always brag and boast, the leaders will always keep to themselves . The followers try their best to draw the attention of others in some attempt to wow others. Leaders are confident, and are quite comfortable expressing themselves, not in such obnoxious ways. So what motivates me as a leader, the question is more like what motivates people to just be, people. It's something the majority of the population can't answer due to controlled thinking.

Sometimes a leader, sometimes a follower. A follower before, and a leader later in life, it makes sense... you want to be on top of the leader board, answer more than you ask

Both the process and the reward motivate me

I'm a leader to those who follow me, but I follow those who I perceive as leaders... as far as action: sometimes the best action is the one not taken!
Always calculate risk vs: reward!

I'm a self starter, see something that needs to be done I just do it.Naturelly curious about things, so I find out, what makes them tick. Others come to me for advice. So, I guess that makes me a leader. I never follow the crowd. Usually, do the opposite.

personally i am more comfortable letting someone else take the lead while i see to the details. unfortunately, when others hear my ideas, i usually end up the leader. i am very patient and understanding with others as they learn things....and i use that patience to teach them what i know. hope this helps

over @ my school, u r either a leader or a follower. in my case, im follower cuz the "cool people" (who are not really cool) dont really hang around w/ me. but i think im a leader too cuz i dont lie to my friends and act fake towards them and i do what i want to do and my friends like me like that.
