I drive an automatic, but I prefer a stick, when the roads are bad.

I learned on a stick(a grain truck) and still drive one to this day!(not a grain truck) I took my test on an automatic however. And if you can deliver mail on a rural route(you have to put the main out the passenger window) and drive a stick shift, you are pretty damn good! Thank you very much, cause that's what I do! :) And I get it done in the same amount of time as the regular carrier who has a right hand drive vehicle.. (mail jeep)

I prefer a stick shift. It's a pain sometimes, in stop and go traffic but in the snow, it can't be beat. I like to feel like I am driving the car, not the car driving me.

I've driven both. From a 4 speed deuce and a half truck to a jeep. But since my knees kinda suck I prefer the automatic now.
