When i was growing up i liked using Compuserve. It has features that the new browsers don't have. Plus my old computer still works and i could use it on that.

Why you want to use old browser?

It does not make much sense because now a days websites are designed based on many features that are not supported in many old browsers.

My suggestion is to get opera(www.opera.com). The best browser ever with best security record.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_web_browsers#Vulnerabilities)

I have to ask, why? Are you looking for a replacement for MS' IE? Great, try Opera or Firefox. Both are free and are free of MS garbage.

Does the old version of Compuserve even exist? I thought those things, like AOL and Compuserve, died off with the Internet.

Browsers are generally free it is the dialup services that ISP's typically charged for. If truly looking for a browser the most popular browsers that are available free of charge are MS Internet Explorer 6.0 (i.e. 7.0 is available but....) and Firefox.
