I would rather have a baby unmarried...as I currently do and I don't feel that there's a darn thing wrong with it. Her daddy and I are engaged and we all live together as a family...just as we did before we got engaged. Marriage isn't essential to a family unit...nor does it necessarily make your family a better one either.

Unmarried. But if you find the right MAN then everything goes even better. And nothing compares to having a man just as excited as you. Good luck

Unmarried.

I am currently 20wks pregnant. I am engaged but we are not married yet - nor will we be until after baby is born... possibly not until baby is old enough to walk and therefore participate in the ceremony (which is my latest idea!)

I don't think that we need to have a piece of paper to make us a more loving couple, or better parents when the time comes. My fiance and our baby are the most important things in my life - with or without a marriage certificate.

I would absolutely rather be a single mom! I'm a single mom right now of 2. It is so important to me to have at least 1 more child in my lifetime, that I'm certain if I don't find Mr. Right, I will go ahead and have another one on my own, probably through adoption.

I had 4 kids to one bloke we never married but they were all brought up loved and well cared for,we ended up separating but the kids see their father every weekend, i now have another baby to a great bloke who has taken in my 4 other kids.you don't need to be married , i don't want to ever marry its waste of money that could be spent on my kids upbringing.

Personally? Never at all. I'm not very good with children, being the constant disciplinarian. Even the dog isn't fond of me.

Living with two parents who are married to each other is associated with more favorable outcomes for children.
