I am usually happy, but for some reason today during class my teacher came up to me and asked if everything was okay. I said yeah, and asked her why she asked, and she said she thought I looked sad. This has happened to me before too when I was in line at the store. I don't know why this happens..I think its because I might be bored or tired at the time. How do I prevent this from happening?

maybe just accept it will happen. who, after all, smiles or laughs 24 hours a day (and not on medication). but you could be more aware that when you are tired, bored whatever that you look down. being aware then you can put on a tiny mona lisa type smile and be friendly. make a joke when they say it.

You cant provent this, I am one of those people that can tell a lot about a person by the way they look and act!! and no I am not a person that judges a book by its cover. I can read people, I dont know it is hard to explain!! but You can try to put a "mask" but you are only trying to fool your self and that is going to make things worse in the long run.

You smile really big and say 'Oh teacher! Thank you for taking the time to worry about me!' then get serious and say, 'But no need wasting energy...I'm always happy! CAN'T YOU SEE THAT?!

I don't know either. Usually when I'm in line, people think I'm mad and they go out of their way to say, "We'll be right with you". I'm never mad, just look that way I guess.

I usually look unhappy even when I'm overjoyed inside.
Ignore the people that think you're unhappy/sad.
