Black holes would lead to a dead star...
The reason why a black hole exist is that because a very huge star (take note that it is proven by science that stars grow bigger as time passes by, and that includes our sun) which came into its size limit explodes... And because of its density there is a phenomena called black hole... Everything will be sucked in to the center of that star inlcluding light... But what happens? It's just that, all matter sucked into its center will remain... Thus, becoming a dead star which no longer produce its own light...
Many would say that there would be another world when you'd be sucked in a black hole, but it's logically impossible... Everything that the black hole sucked in will remain compact... But what causes the black hole? It's the alternate effect that the explosion caused when the star reached its limit... But take note that a black hole takes place for lots of years not just in one earth day.
And by the way, it's true that the sun grows larger and larger every year, and it may also exlpde like the other stars did, but don't worry because by the time the sun will explode, human race would already be gone... Logically speaking, who would think any human can survive the heat of the sun if the earth is only a few million kilometers far from it considering that the sun is already very very huge??? Hmmm...

It would be cool if black holes were some sort of portal to another time or place...
But in my opinion black holes are sort of like the eye of a storm; where everything around it is revolving and exploding in a very chaotic way, while the center is peaceful and calmed (though no survivor will ever tell the tale if ever cought by one -lol). After all it has zero gravity and infinite density.
...the question does leave the mind to wonder though.

Black holes really lead to another time in space. It could lead to an alternate reality of time as you know it. If you go through a black hole, often you may not be able to get back.

Everybody has a black hole theory.
Here's mine: I don't believe a black hole
is a place. I believe it appears to be a
place. Actually, it's negative energy
surrounded by "particle" energy which
defines it's shape.
The hole itself is a vacuum, and like all
vacuums, has no true time or space.
Thus, black holes don't lead anywhere.
However, evidence continues to mount
that creation can emerge from black holes.
Today's trendy thought is that the "quarks"
in a black hole retain their properties.
Hence, when these quarks explode, they
form a tomorrow that largely resembles
today.
If this is true, the era of chosen children
and magic carpet rides is over.

Eternity.... i don't think of black holes lead everywhere. They likely are something that we do not realize yet, imagine of each and every of the advances in technology in the previous one hundred years, i imagine that we are going to come across many better issues about the universe in the destiny.

Holes remind me of serpent holes.
Darkness not a good thing.
But after great darkness is great light.

Because of the ultra dense gravity that crushes everything including light, how will we ever know? It is still science fiction right now.

They may not actually even exist. We have not even found one yet. They are only theories, and a bad one at that.
