The best product I have found is something called Connoisseurs Jewelry Cleaner. You can get it in any jewelry or department store (like Wal-Mart or Sears). It comes in a little red jar.
It has a little tray inside where you put the jewellry and lower it into the liquid. Then a few minutes later you use the same little tray to bring the jewellry back up (like a strainer). A quick rinse with warm water and everything sparkles.

Get a pan and put some warm water in it w/ some water softener found in the laundry isle in stores. Put a sheet of aluminum foil in the bottom of the pan and put your silver in and tarnish will vanish. If memory serves the silver will have to touch the aluminum foil to work.

They sell silver cleaner cloths. Go to a search engine and search for silver cleaner cloths.
All you do is constantly rub the silver with this cloth. No need for harsh chemicals.

All you need is aluminum foil, do just what the person above said, it does work and it is cheap and not going to stink like the other stuff.
