Oh there is a million and one good fiction books out there, but I don't know what your reading style is...here are some good stuff I've read: Neil Gaiman is a really good author, his best is American Gods. Anything by Dean Koontz, my favorite being Face. Classics such as Alice in Wonderland, The Crucible (yes, I know, its a play). Up the Down Staircase is good. Death of a Travelling Salesman by Aruther Miller is good, but also a play. The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice or Blackwood Farm series by Anne Rice. Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan (very complicated books). You Don't Know Me by David Klass, one of the best books I've ever read. Dark Angel by David Klass as well, right up there with You Don't Know Me. These are just off the top of my head. Anything by Poppy Z. Brite... Exquiset Corpse being my favorite. Crooked by Laura and Tom McNeal (amazingly addicting. Looks cliche, totally not.) Hearts in Atlantis by Stephen King (totally not one of his normal works. Really surreal, absolutly amazing.) Cave Dweller by Dorthy Allison which is also a movie, NEVER SEE THE MOVIE! The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova (its about Dracula ^^.) Uhm Daughters of the Moon series is awsome, but quick reads. I could think of more... but I think there is enough there ^^
