Simple water purification:
Take a large pot or bowl etc. filled with dirty water, in the middle of the pot put an empty glass with a stone in the bottom to help hold it in place. Stretch plastic wrap over the top of the bowl and tape it to the outsides of the bowl. Place a small stone on top of the plastic wrap over the centre of the cup, this crates a slight downward point above the cup. Then place the whole thing in the sun for a while, as the dirty water evaporates it then cools on the plastic wrap. Clean fresh water then drips into the glass in the middle.
