Depending where you are/go they cost different amounts. Also, depending on the type of abortion you are getting. For example, there is the medical procedure for an abortion and then there is the abortion pill. The abortion procedue is done in one day and lasts I guess the max a half hour. It may be very short, but I'm not sure. The pill on the other hand is more of a week long process. I know a friend who got that and she first had an injection then was told to insert these 3 pills. You basically get your period within 24 hours. For a week after although, you are put on a Folic Acid diet. The average is about $395. And YES, you would have to pay the money upfront. I'm not expert on this, but you should look into things/research first and really decide if you or whoever is thinking about this really is the right decision for you. Best of luck!

Abortion prices depend on the area in which you opt to have the abortion. Most large cities have abortion centers which are far more affordable than local doctor's offices and clinics, where you can face a heavy stigma (not to mention heavy fees). Most big city clinics will range in price from $350-$500 in the first trimester. Many will also offer a student discount.

It's important to remember when considering an abortion that you need to tell whoever is treating you whether or not you are Rh negative. If you have Rh negative blood you will need a Rhogam shot. You will need to pay for the abortion up front. I do not know of any place that gives a payment plan.

Keep in mind when I say "abortion clinic" these are very large, well maintained facilities. They are not back-alley clinics or dirty, dingy areas where women go to get mutilated and die. These are professionals. They are far more experienced than your regular family practicioner. You should also look into the abortion pill (RU-486) as it can be far less traumatic than a normal abortion.

Please remember that YOU are the boss of your reproductive choices. YOU. Women for thousands of years have made reproductive choices on their own with no stigma attached. People can be small-minded and cruel, but its the nature of the beast. Ignore them. Know that no matter what you chose with your situation that in the end, it will all be all right.

I highly suggest that you visit www.girl-mom.com. This is a site that is neither pro-choice nor pro-life. It is merely a support site for women who find themselves pregnant. The community there is supportive to each and every choice and I think it may make you feel comforted to get the support that every woman needs and deserved when faced with a difficult decision like yours. Best of luck.

Abortions cost vary depending on how far along you are. Call your abortion clinic and they can tell you the rates. You do have to have all of the money up front before you have it done. If you pay and then you get back there and decide not to do it, you WILL NOT get a refund. Good luck sweetie. Don't let everyones opinions phase you. They are not in your shoes. If you wanna talk you can email me.

not to the person asking the question to the people answering. she needs an answer not your opinion or are you all stupid and don't under stand that. and maybe she used a condom or is on birth control **** happens so before you tell her to close her legs you need to know the story.also there can be alot of reasons why she wants or needs an abortion so why don't you people back off I'm sure she has enough on her mind with out you smart *** people who obviously have no under standing emotions in your body and by the way in an early pregnancy "the baby" is not a baby its a fetus. its not developed at all really so its not like your killing a baby its like i said killing a fetus and if this is what she is deciding its probably for the best PS TO THE GIRL ASKING I'M NOT SURE SORRY get in touch with a womens clinic and ask

I don't know where you live at, so, I couldn't tell you, but, I would suggest you find the closest clinic to you and find out. Find out fast, you may not need one, if you're still early enough in your pregnancy you could take the morning after pill. I also know from experience and it's a tough choice to have to make and NO BODY has a right to judge you for it. When I made the decision, it was because there was no way I could take care of the baby and the 2 children I already had properly. Sometimes tough decisions have to be made. I had mine back in March, it costed me around $300.00 Planned parenthood should be able torefer you to a facility in your area.

It depends on the facility (who does the procedure) will depend on how much it will cost. Unfortunately, I was in this situation 10 years ago when I was 22 years old and just started grad school. Back then it cost about $400 and had to be paid up front prior to the procedure. I had it done at a clinic. Good luck to you...

Depends on what stage of the pregnancy. Contact your local planned-parenthood for the best advice. I was involved in a very similar situation not long ago.

I don't like the question period! PERIOD! But ladies we don't know the situation of how she got pregnant so we should watch what we say, you know what i mean. I think that there are other alternatives period. Adoption is hard put what a wonderful gift, alot easier to live with than murder, any way you got pregnant, it still is Murder. but aganecies help you with madical bill and what not! A child born in agony and in drugs on the street and beat or born addicted to crack is that worth it to do that or send the soul back home to god. I say if you can be clean they can provide help and give the gift. In a sense hunny it is your responsibility if you did not take precaution. And it doesn't kill you!
