I remember this movie as a child and I adored Uncle Remus as well. I think it was banned because it was considered racially incorrect. And, truly, if you look back at some of the situations, it was, we just did not recognize it because we were young. Unfortunately, that was the way things were in the south then. Perhaps Disney was actually trying to create peace and harmony with this movie. Either way, Just wanted to tell you I like your avatar. Your face does not match what I imagined you as. You are someone I could feel very close to. Thanks for the interesting concept.
