They managed to do 12 miles (96 laps around a track) in those two hours. The only reason for stopping was needing to get home, otherwise they could have gone on longer. Is that manic? Also, they fight the compulsion to ditch work and school and home life to exercise and are starting to have to fight the compulsion to use work and school as a way to get by with improper diet again. The person has been seen by a counselor and doctor in the past and wishes to see one, but has to choose carefully coz most people don't want to deal with that kind of bullshit and coz there are other things that kinda interfere or make it even more difficult to keep with it. And please don't answer this like I'm referring to myself coz maybe I am, maybe I am not. Maybe it's a hypothetical question asked so I can file the answer away for future use with someone I know....
