Hi,

I had a c-section 2 weeks ago and for the last few days I've almost stopped bleeding and this afternoon I started bleeding heavy again. Not enough to fill a pad in one hour so I'm not worried about the amount of blood I'm losing, I'm just worried that this might be a sign that something is wrong. It this normal to start and stop bleeding after having a baby?

were you actually energetic? or perhaps did this happen properly after breastfeeding? i have had 2 c-sections and both circumstances after the first few weeks it replaced into no longer unusual to have mild moments and then a touch extra bleeding. even if it really is bright pink, clotting, and/or painful, call your OB ASAP to be particular all is properly. in the different case it really is likely fairly well-known and is something that ought to likely watch for a decision into the place of work for the period of commonly used organization hours. And once you've any fever you should call ASAP to rule out an infection. you're literally not purely improving from childbirth, yet important surgical treatment to boot, so conceal your bases.
