Multiply both sides times 7
3p/7 * 7 = 4/5 * 7
3p = 28/5

Multiply both sides times 5
3p * 5 = 28/5 * 5
15p = 28

Divide both sides by 15
15p / 15 = 28 / 15
p = 28/15

CHECK YOUR ANSWER
3(28/15) times 5=28
7 times 4=28

PROPORTIONS! I got this:

You cross multiply. So multiply 3p by 5, and multiply 7 by 4. You get 15p=28. Divide both sides by 15. You will get a fraction, or a number with some decimal places.

this will end up
