If you're going to go just by the stats then its Huet. I myself go by a lot more than just the score sheet. Marc Andre Fluery faces roughly 35-40 shots a night. He plays behind a defense of forgetable names with the exception of Gonchar (who is an offensive defenseman anyways). He also plays on a team that was out right horrible last season. Despite all of the negatives he still finds a way to win important games. He made at the very least 8 game saving saves against the Islanders on Tuesday night. He is keeping a slightly improved Penguins team in the playoff hunt this year. If that doesn't earn him some respect then I dont know what does.

Then you take Huet who is a really good goalie in his own right, but he also has a very very solid defense in front of him. He is also playing on a really talented team that made the playoffs last year. I just dont think he has accomplished as much as MAF has so far.

Huet is 6-0-0 in his last 6 starts and he has found his form of last year he is definitely the top goalie in the NHL right now, nobody can score on him. Huet needs to start playing 4 to 5 games in a row now its time he's there, i didn't like the fact that he won 2 games in a row and then they put Aebischer in nets on that Saturday night and we lost its time to let Huet be #1.

Mattimos>>>>>Huet has never been the backup goalie for the Habs this year, they were mixing it up between both goalies to get the best out of them and Huet started the season as number 1 and will finish the season as number 1.

Marc-Andre Fleury...PIT. Just watch some of his saves. How the heck can someone twist and contort his body is beyond me. He made a save when a puck was 4/5 of the way over! He's also a fan fav...top goalie pick thus far for the all-star game.

Ryan Miller, Marty Brodeur, and JS Giguere are all good also...but MAF is one of the best and youngest.

Ray Emery of the Ottawa Senators. They had gerber in net while Emery was off with a wrist injury, and Ottawa was at the bottom of the list. Ever since Emery he game back (And is now borrowing Gerber's glove because it's easier to clasp and squeeze shut) they've made a huge comeback, especially on their road trip. Don't believe me? Look at the stats with and without Emery.

Cristobal Huet IS THE BEST GOALIE right now. He's the hottest goalie right now. Tops in GAA and save percentage. GO HABS.

Christobal Huet. I don't like the habs but he has played great in the past few weeks. He has been treated pretty badly in Montreal with the goaltending situation but he somehow overcame being backup to David Abeischer. He is an elite goaltender.

By the way, did I spell Abeischer right? I don't think so...

Yep, gotta be Huet. Best save % & best GAA. Faces close to 40 shots a night. What more do you need to prove he's the best right now? I CAN'T BELIEVE HUET WON'T BE GOING TO THE ALL-STAR GAME!!! He's done alot more for Montreal than Souray.
