Does anyone know of a free trial for ArcGIS? I'm required to use it for a project at school and I don't know how to get excess to it. I only need it for two weeks.

I don't think you can get arcgis samples.
You might be able to get a sample of arcmap.

There are free open source GIS packages such as GRASS and MAPwin GIS. You could try those.

I would recommend going to a computer lab on campus that has access to it. If your school has a geography department go to their computer labs. Anthropology and Geology departments also often times use that software.

If you have to use it for a project at school, then the school must have a licence for it to be installed on at least some of their computers, so check the computer labs or ask your lecturer.
Also, don't forget that you'd need more than the program itself to run anything, you'd actually need the databases with the info
we had to use ArcGIS for a class this semester, and one of my study buddies tried to get a cracked version thru one of the P2P networks - he gave it up as a bad joke because the files are so huge, so it's not something you'd want to install unless you had to anyway
my recommendation is to use your college computer labs

If you are in the USA, you can request an evaluation copy of ArcGIS directly from ESRI.
