I am taking votes....
should I
1.) open the door so she can see me, and scream "Crap! we are not home" and slam the door in her face.
2.) open the door and scream, drop to the floor at the site of her and play dead?
3.) open the kitchen window, located right by the door, and run to my car, hop in and leave?
4.) open the door, and tape a pre-written letter to the outside of the door, slam to door in her face. (the prewritten letter would say, sorry we are having sex right now come back tomorrow afternoon)
5.) open the door and say "Honey, the wicked witch of the west is here, so either the house didn't kill her or she is back from the dead!"
6.) open the door and spray her with a fire extinguisher
7.) open the door and scream "honey, the devil is here"
8.) open the door and tell her "Sorry, we dont do charity" and slam the door
9.) open the door and say "Oh, I didnt know the circus was in town. Is that a real beard?"

I personally like number 4. It tells her that the two of you are very much in love, you do not care who is at the door, and you are going to love each other no matter what.
All of the others seem unreal or just too danged negative.
And lastly, you may wish to add at the bottom some line about everyone that reads this should return to their home and make love to their significant other, spread the love around so to speak.

Kill her with kindness,
When you see her, give her a big hug, and offer for her to come in from the out doors. Offer her something to drink ( just dont lace that drink), and tell her ever so gently to have a seat. Then tell her, about your day and how good or bad it was, and when she tries to speak let her. Nod your head like you really care and go on with whatever you were doing when she decided to come over.

From most of the bad stories I've heard, some MIL's can practice attention-seeking activities, so I think this one works well!

Get in your car, and as she is driving up, start to drive away. Honk the horn and yell out "O My God! Im going to be a dad!!! I cant believe the water broke!!!" Drive away and circle the block... then come back, hide the car and go inside....
she will think your off having a baby and follow to the hospital.. when you dont come home she will be panicked and hurt that you didnt tell her you were having a baby...
Just play the games for a while.

WHY CAN'T YOU TRY TO GET ALONG WITH YOUR MOTHER-IN-LAW? AT LESS FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR WIFE...
IF YOU HAVE ISSUE WITH HER SAT HER DOWN AND AIR THEM. STOP BEING A KID.
AND ON THE OTHER HAND YOUR MOTHER-IN-LAW HAS TO RESPECT YOU AS WELL.
