I'm 20 and I sleep with a teddy bear. It was gift from my dad when I was 9 and my parents divorced. I haven't seen my father since I was 14. I'm I being a big kid? Do you ever get too old?

you never get to old when you sleep with a teddy bear. I did it since I was a baby. I still do it and I'm 13 years old. yes you are being a big kid. your not the only big person that sleeps with a teddy bear because there are millions of people in the world that sleep with a teddy bear.

There are things in life you never get too old for, sleeping with your teddy bear is one of them. Believing in Santa Claus is another. One day soon though you're gonna meet a real live teddy bear and the one you have now will find a new home on top of your dresser or on a shelf. But for now this teddy bear is just fine.

No and there's nothing wrong with that. My daughter is 18 and you can bet that the last teddy bear my mom gave her before she died in a car accident is always in her bed and travels with her too if she's going for a long time. Just as with you it's a link to someone loved who's out of reach.

actually I hadn't ever had a stuffed animal that i would take to bed with me...until recently (go ahead, I know you want to laugh) and my answer to your question is a resounding NO WAY!
even if someone denies having a teddy bear or something to that effect then I would bet that they are just ashamed of it.

Iv'e had mine since I was born that my dad gave to me. All the time at night he tucks me in with it. Well maybe I'm not that old so its ok for me because I'm 11. But if it has a good meaning to you it should even be buried with you when you pass away.

You never get too old to do anything. I think some things are just valued possessions that we keep through the years. It's nice to have a momento of the past (or present). :-)

I think you should look into minimizing how attached you get to the bear. Eventually, Its time to move one.
