I would guess housing, based on my anecdotal observation that most people pay more for their shelter than any other single expense in their life.

However, one could also say that the business of government is far bigger.

I would have to say the "Electronic Industry". Just think about how many electrical products that we have today.

Electricity is by far the biggest product that gets used everyday. Without it, people would be lost

Just imagine what would happen to the whole world if we were all deprived from all things that used electricity for one day.
