The impossible is only possible when the person reminds himself that everything is possible.

The impossible is absolutely possible!!

Here is a hint that it is not impossible at all:

You want it badly.

Your eyes tear up when you think about it.

It pulls at your heart and makes it pound.

These are all signs that what you think is impossible is actually your destiny calling.

What to do to make it happen?

1) Put yourself on a 20 year plan (well, at least 10 - though 20 is ideal

2) Study the steps that it takes to get there. If you don't know what the steps are, as k those who are 'in the know' in that area.

3) Start at step one and keep going step by step. Do not think about more than one step ahead so as not to become discouraged. Think about the step you are on, and hold a general iidea of what comes next. That is all.

4) Have a reward system so that you are living some of your goal now - hang out with those you admire, do things that connect you with your impossible dream or idea, study and immerse yourself in some small, present moment aspect of what it is you want right now.

5) Keep going, for the long haul. This is why your plan needs to be a long one. Keep putting one foot in front of the other and measure progress in increments of several years (look back and jjudge how much further away you were 5 years ago, not criticizing yourself cause you don't see progress in 5 months.)

You will accomplish the 'impossible'.

Ten years ago I was a high school drop out in an abusive marriage with no support and no money. I made a goal to go from dropout to PhD in ten years. I am now in the middle of my dissertation for my doctoral degree (PhD) in the field of my choice (International Relations). I teach college and encourage others. I make a point to speak with and hang out with experts in my chosen field. I have done internships at the U.N. (while newly divorced and still on welfare).
I am (in my estimation) about 2/3 of the way to where I want to be professionally.... If you talk to me in 5 years I will have amazing things to share, I know.
By the way - my master plan is a 40 year plan, which I am ten years completed.

Best of luck to you in your 'impossible!!'

MM

The question answers itself, the word impossible over rides the word possible, because impossible came first.

Depends on your point of referrence. Yes the impossible is possible. More often than not, though unsurmised, more than likely.

( Not to cultivate false hope in a wrong thing. Too many people are doing that. )

Yes, it sure is! My life was going absolutely nowhere. I had factory jobs now and then, but they all closed up.

I met a guy who I lived with, moved to a mountain cabin with, got married at a waterfall, too.

Lived in a town of only 800 people, with spectacular mt. views everywhere!

Swamped a canoe in 37 degree water in April, 22 inches over flood stage! ( The most I did right before that was take walks, I had suffered a lumbar sacral sprain and didn't think I could walk!)

Got stuck in the woods overnight in December, And had to climb over an ice covered log on my belly to get out of the woods! Got rescued by a town that had only about 12 people in it! ( With the guy, WoW! ) Yes!

If there is a will, there is a way. Of course the impossible is possible, we are traveling through space aren't we?

i would say it depends.
some things are just IMPOSSIBLE, no matter how hard you try. maybe its not meant to be. on the other hand, some things that people think are impossible, can be accomplished if you are determined and you keep trying
