When I was pregnant I completely cut back on caffeine which gave me headaches for the first half of my pregnancy. You could also be overly tired.

The most likely reason as to why you are getting headaches is probably because of all the constant hormone changes in your body. Im pregnant and thats what my doctor told me about my headaches. Just try and get some rest. Good luck with everything:)

you feel that way because since you are pregnant you hormones are changing just relax get enough rest eat regularly get some peace and quiet switch lighting sit straight up and don't get stuffy. You're head cold might be sinus try applying hot and cold compresses to your head and for tension headaches try an ice pack on your neck for about 20 Min's good luck

It could be due to hormonal changes. I would call or make an appointment with your OB/GYN doctor (soon) about the situation as it could also be a sign of something more serious. I'm sure your doctor can prescribe something for you to take to alleviate most of the pain. I just googled "pregnancy headaches" and got a lot of listings. Check them out if you want to. Hope they help.

I had bad headaches too. I just took some Tylenol. Then eventually I think it was my 2nd trimester that my headaches went away. Good Luck.

There is another life form growing inside you. Physically that is placing your entire body under a great deal of stress, everything is working double. This is common with a lot of pregnant women.

i think its a hormonal surge
i had them really bad early on, when i didnt even know i was pregnant. i tried everything-every medication for them and none helped, it got to the point that i was told to go to the e.r. for a shot....
as soon as i found out i was pregnant, i was relieved cause i thought there was really some thing wrong
it gets better and congrats

I would try to change the filter in the furnace to a hepa filter... it is possible that with the baby your body is going through many changes and could possibly be hypersensitive to air borne allergens>>>

it may b the baby pushing on ur vena cava and decreasing blood flow all over and the increased blood flow causes more head aches. if u notice swelling of ur feet, hands, or face or blurry vision ask ur doc about preeclampsia and diabetes
