Hello, I personally have cystic fibrosis so i speak only from experience. here is a little background info before i answer your question: I was diagnosed with CF around nine months old, and I was having problems gaining weight (digestive problems), and i was sweating a lot forming salt crystals on my face. The doctors put me on digestive enzymes to help my digestive system. I was always a small, yet very healthy child but never quite had respiratory problems until i was about 10 years old. then i had to start doing physio to help get mucus out of my lungs. So to answer your question, yes it is very likely she will develop some sort of respiratory issue, but if you try and keep her immune system strong i am sure she will do just fine. I hope this helps you. If you have any questions, concerns or just need to talk to someone with experience, don't be shy to write back, i am happy to share my knowledge.
