Is White Pride racist when black pride isn't?

Question

A few decades ago, white folks show white pride by lyncnging and burning those who were different.

Since then, it seems that the only way White folks show white pride as a group is through hate and shaming other cultures.

BET for example, you wouldn't believe, is now own by MTV. Sure the majority of the people on BET are black, but there are countless white people on BET every second. Anyone can subscribe to BET, anyone can watch, attend recorded shows and even work there, hell, even purchase it.

My family and friends show Black pride by barbecuing, not lynching and burning. Sure there are countless white folks who aren't violent.

But you would have to blame their ancestors, a few bad apples, for making white pride seem like a horrible thing to say and partake in.

Any color pride is racist, because it separates people into groups by color.

These two things were created for totally different reasons. Whereas the White Pride believe in one race dominating the world, Black pride congragated to become one so that they could battle for their rights like the right to vote, not be enslaved, etc. It's like Gay pride. Gays do not want only gay people in this world, they are taking a stance that it is o.k. to be o.k. It is o.k. to be black. I guess realistically since Caucasians have never been the Minority anywhere that I can think of there has never been a need for White Pride. Unfortunately the term has been ruined for life by the White Power/Pride followers who teach hatred and spew out unrealistic facts about God and the world.

I don't think its racist for a person to be proud of their heritage. The problem with a lot of white pride is that evrerytime you see it, it comes along with hate of other races. Black pride, Asian pride, Hispanic pride, on the other hand is almost always about uplifting the community and having pride in one's actual heritage. Btw I know plenty of white people who are proud of their heritage but are NOT racists. So know white pride is not racism.

Pride is not racism no matter what your race is. Lynching and burning had nothing to do with white pride. Those acts were done out of hatred and that is racism. I am white and proud of it. Yes some white people did things that were disgusting but neither myself or my ancestors have ever done anything against another race that we need to be ashamed of.

Black people have a reason to want to have pride. White people didnt go throuch half the things black people did, black pride arised in the 60s when we were starting to revolutionize against racism.

I see you weren't taught a lot about the Civil Rights move. I shall grant you with a speedy precis. The word "black delight" change into coined in the Civil Rights move, a move in which blacks fought decrease back their oppressors (whites) to achieve equality in united statesa.. "Black delight" does no longer advise "down with whitey!" Black delight is all about being happy with who you're and how you look, even inspite of the actuality that human beings imagine you're disgusting and unworthy by way of way you look.
