this is just the way the computer laptop connect to the internet. this is a wireless laptop that can use any wireless connection. the connection can be one from a home, school, the library or a coffee shop.

I have one and right now I am at home, but I take it to school and the llibrary where they have wireless connections I can use to connect my laptop to the internet

Satellite is just the model designation. It works like any other laptop.
