Mets, O's, Seattle, Padres, Dodgers, Giants, Indians, White Sox, Tigers, Phillies, and the Angels are all teams that at some point have been rumoured to be intersted, and most of those are just not true.

The Angels, Dodgers, Padres, Seattle maybe, Indians? are the only realistic option

Most of the above teams are either not interested or have nothing to offer. The Red Sox have a half decent farm system now, they are not interested in prospects, they want/need major league talent in return.

I like the Angels or the Dodgers as the most likely. The Sox need bullpen help and a big bat. Angels can give pitching to get that bat, and the dodgers can give a bullpen arm, and a young power hitter.

Angels seem to be backing off Rameriz however.

Everyone in Boston likes the numbers Rameriz puts up, but its probably time he left, he hurts the clubhouse with the special treatment he requires, and if he wants out, you have to wonder how long he can keep producing good numbers in a city/environment he hates - its actually a credit to his work ethic and professionalism as a hitter he always hits 35+HR and 100+RBI a season, no matter what.

The Dodgers, Padres, Giants, and Mariners are all after Ramirez. The Sox might even trade Ramirez by Saturday. The Sox would get Adrian Gonzalez if they trade Ramirez to Seattle. I have mixed opinions on this. Part of me really likes Manny, and who else can back up Ortiz like Manny. But we would save so much money, and there are so many "Manny being Manny" incidents.

According to The Boston Globe and ESPN.com, the market for Ramirez might wind up as a battle between NL West competitors such as the Giants, Dodgers and Padres.

Not that you heard it here first, but (1) Sox sign Drew within a week, and (2) Manny to the west coast...probably Dodgers by the end of January. GO SOX!

hmm lets see... if anything should happen it should be directly after the signing of JD Drew

If to the Dodgers, we're talking about Julio Lugo, their amazing centerfielder prospect, and other minor league fill ins

If to the Padres, we're talking either Jake Peavy, and fill ins, or possibly Scott Leinbrick, and possibly Adrian Gonzalez.. no promises on all 3 of them though :/

if to the Giants, we're talking about pitching sensation Noah Lowry, and other fill-ins (the worst of all 3 deals)

Conclusion: Manny's days are numbered as a Red Sox and even if there is not trade (which I doubt) he'll eventually get sick of all this trade rumor talk and DEMAND to be taken out of Boston.

Rumours are that Manny could end up somewhere in the NL West, the dodgers looking to be the best suitor for him. He would be rekindled with Nomar, Derek Lowe, and ex sox manager, grady little.

also, once manny is gone it is likely that j.d drew will sign with the bosox

something advise: The pink Sox humiliating him with an MRI on both knees in simple terms presently after he complained of an injured knee and then a reporter in a piece of writing commented the pink sox had an MRI on both knees in case Manny forgot which knee it became lol. at the same time as the pink Sox were contained in the sequence with the Cleveland Indians and he suggested who cares it isn't the right of the international there is continually next year. Then of route they win the international sequence. something humorous: absolutely at the same time as Manny stares at a attractive unmarried which his palms up in triumph. i presumed at the same time as he rolled over the ball that became hilarious. i could not end guffawing. Francona and Theo were dissatisfied yet he became guffawing ah no massive deal not the right of the international lol. easily Manny is a charitable individual so laid decrease back stress loose people must be a touch extra comfortable and care loose like Manny.

There is always a lot of talk concerning big names this time of year. I've heard Cleveland might have some interest.

The only thing we can do is wait and see what really happens.

The Winter meetings start Monday, and I expect a few deals to be made.
