I'm a Kobe fan, but I didn't expect him to light the scoreboard up like he did last year. First, he's coming off knee surgery and just getting back into the swing of things. Second, he's making a conscious effort to get his teammates more involved. Honestly, I'm surprised he's already 14th in scoring. Trust me, the numbers will slowly go up. We're not even 20 games into the season. There's alot of games to be played. Be patient.

Man I think you need to chill out a little and give him a break. His point totals are slumping now but its just that he got off to a not so good start. Really though he is having a great season, he is playing stronger defensively, being a leader, getting more assists. So what if his points dropped for right now by seasons end he will be in the top 5 for sure.

wow. first of all, ever heard of a couple of guys named shaquille o'neal or wilt chamberlain? they were/are centers, and have scored lots of points. if you are truly a basketball fan, you might remember that wilt actually averaged over 50 points a game for a season or two. also, a few more names i could throw at you - chris webber, karl malone, kevin garnett, tim duncan. ignorance.
kobe had knee surgery over the offseason and that is sapping his explosiveness, thus leading to less scoring opportunites.
how many people are going to ask why kobe is scoring less. cripes.

Yao & Zach are pretty dominant. Kob is just recovering from his knee surgery, and he's trynta get back into his mode. He's still kinda rusty, so don't expect him to do all that well early. Do you think that you would be droppin 35 when you just had knee surgery?!

Well he is in his 11th season, his body is wearing down, he just came off of an injury, missed all the preseason and some regular season games this year and he is trying to get his teamates going first.

hey man, zach randolph is a good player. watch him play, and you will see why he will rank above bryant. yao is doing incredibly well and so are all the other players. bryant is staying low, which is what most fans wanted. fans like you just want him to go back to being a ballhog.
