Here are a few great teen books that are hard to put down, but they are a little more substantial than things like the A-List series and the Clique novels.

A Great and Terrible Beauty and Rebel Angels by Libba Bray
Life As We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer
Twilight and New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (sp)
A Ring of Endless Light by Madeleine L'Engle

You can go to amazon.com to look up brief synopses of these books

Try anything by Sarah Dessen-she's good. Tamora Peirce is good too if you look fantasy. Also I love the Squire's Tales, a series by Gerald Morris. um...The Clique series is really good. Also try The Thief. The Queen of Attolia, and The King of Attolia a trilogy by Megan Whalen Turner. Airborn and it's sequel Skybreaker by Kennith Oppel are both AWESOME. And my favorite book ever is called Crown Duel by Sherwood Smith. Oh, and another good author is Shannon Hale-try reading The Goose Girl first, if you like it you'll like her others. Also, a good modern king arthur themed book is Avalon High by Meg Cabot. Hope you find something you like!!!

If you love to read, I wouldn't limit your options to teen novels as they're often trite and superficial.

For an enjoyable read I'd suggest Huraki Murakami's 'The Wind-Up Bird'

Or maybe 'The World According to Garp' by John Irving

another good one is 'The Time Traveler's Wife' by Audrey Niffennegger

The material isn't hard, so don't be worried by that.
Enjoy!

Your pastimes and interest might want to take you previous the fantasies of fiction and into the genuine international of historic previous, technology, and philosophy. that isn't any longer to denigrate fiction -- a lot of it has diffused and not in any respect-so-diffused messages presented in a fashion which include to characterize a getting to well known journey for the reader
