I have had success in getting rust removed by using the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
You might want to give it a try. It seems to be able to get into small crevices quite well.
It removed rust on my daughter's vintage tricycle... so it might work for you as well.

Try Flitz to remove it. Sold in sporting good stores to remove rust off guns. It works great. Good Luck.

Try soaking it in Coca Cola. This was a method used years ago. If they haven't changed the formula of "Coke" too much, it might still work. It's cheap, and you can drink the rest of the coke, if the object is really small.

Try a product known as "naval jelly" and some fine steel wool.
If that dont take it off, nothing will.

go to a jewlery store ..they usually have jewlery cleaner that gets rust off..also try nail polish remover
