Have a new girl and had just given birth to a baby boy, am hundred miles away from home. Experiencing difficulty in where I am and the place and lots of stuff here reminds me of my ex. I am tempted to mail her just like the old times when something is not going on right, we used to talk and console each other , is it okay? is it fair?

Yes, if you are just friends then there is nothing wrong with that.

This is a trick question right? What part of married do you not understand? DO NOT go mucking up a family and a marriage just because you are a needy weenie. You may feel better for a while, but you could really ruin a few lives here that do don need to be trashed. I can assure you the new child does not need to hear his parent fighting because of your personal need. Suck it up and be a man. Leave the family alone. The old times are just that, the old times.

This is tricky territory and you know it. It is inappropriate for a married person to have an emotional affair too you know.

So if you're willing to try to start a friendship with the husband too, and have all of your communications be in front of him, then you'd probably be okay...but if you want it just her, then back away. There are other people you can go to for support.

good luck.

She has a new man. Stay away. Find a new friend. By the way, wives are not too keen on thier husbands having female friends who they talk to when they are not there to hear what is being said. Don't go there.

you'd be real lucky if you could put the worse parts of the past behind you. don't spoil it by bringing any of that muck back, pretend it's manure; just leave it there and let yourselves get stronger.

her man has to be considered too though, he'll probably need some space to get used to this...

I don't see an issue if it's just talk. You might want to run it by your gf though, she's not just another girl she's your ex. If you don't plan to do anything shifty then you have nothing to hide by telling your gf anyway right?

If you still have feelings for her, it's best that you don't. Is there someone else that you can go to besides her? Time to move on, buddy. Good luck!

Leave her alone. You are out of her life and need to keep it that way. Swallow your guilt/pride or whatever make you want to contact her.
