Every fossil, every observation in biology points to evolution. There is nothing that goes against it or points to a different way to scientifically explain modern diversity. There is not one fossil or one piece of DNA that does NOT point to evolution. It would be hard NOT to see the concrete evidence, and only those blinded by faith can do this.
Evolution is 100% world-wide accepted fact, including the evolution of man.
There is ZERO evidence for a higher being causing anything. This is why people who are religious need faith, you can't see or study the actions of a deity, by definition. Evolution has ZERO faith and ALL evidence.
Scientists (real ones) have been studying and supporting evolution for over 150 years, and still nothing has pointed to creationism. There is clear links and transitional forms between everything in the fossil record to the Class-Family level, if not Genus-Species level. And this includes humans, which there are several 'missing links' which are well described and studied, people just choose to ignore this. Sure, there are still things we don't know, but that's why science is not stagnent and dead. We learn more every day, that's what happens when you keep an open mind and follow the scientific method.
There are some areas of evolution in which all of the pieces have not been found in the fossil record, but there is no counter theory that has even ONE piece of evidence that can not easily be explained by evolution.
Let me turn the question around, if Creationism was correct and science could definitively prove Creationism (and thus the existence of God), why would they not? That would be the greatest scientific discovery in the history of the world. No one would pass that up to maintain the 'status quo'. There is no conspiracy to hide creation evidence. Anyone who knows real scientists knows they are glory-mongers first. They love to prove others wrong to enhance their own standing. And if any scientist could prove Creation/God, it would've been done a long time ago.
Go to a museum, take a class in biology, go to reputable sites on the Internet (like AAAS: http://www.aaas.org/news/press_room/evolution or http://www.talkorigins.org ) and find out for yourself.

it is a theory, however the word theory in this case does not mean that its just a guess or a thought, this theory is based on much observation and evidence, basically, evolution has been observed on a small scale, therefore it is assumed that it also happens on a large scale.
How is evolution possible.... two words: mutation and adaptation. There are many things that can cause a mutation in an organism and most of those mutations won't be good for the organism, however some may give it an adaptation that makes it more fit for its environment therefore surviving. Adaptation - when the environment of an organism changes rapidly, these organisms tend to adapt fast and evolve adaptations that would help them survive.

If you read these answers, you would mostly get a load of crap from ignorant people who do not understand basic science definitions.
Evolution is defined as a change in allele frequency from one generation to another. That’s it. Plain and simple. Therefore, evolution happens. It is a fact no different then saying gravity is always attractive and never repulsive. Anyone can measure it. Where science and religion differ is on what drives evolution. Darwin proposed that evolution occurs because of natural selection. The basics of natural selection are:
1.There are variations in genes in a population.
2.These variations arise due to random mutations.
3.There is competition for resources.
4.Those organisms with traits (that must be heritable) best able to compete for these limited resources will be more likely to be reproduce and pass on their genes to the next generation.
5.Repeat until extinct.
Note that while the source of mutations is random, natural selection is anything but random. It is a brutal process of selection where the loser is eliminated from the gene pool.
Creationists have another view. Their answer to what drives evolution is: Magic. It happens because it is the will of an all-powerful deity. Non-falsifiable and worthless as a model. Can’t do a thing with it.
If they can’t understand the definition of evolution, then the definition of theory would be even harder to understand.

The Evolution is really a philosophy that has evolved from Darwin into a modern theory. There is the Evolution idea from Darwin. However ;on the other hand the real application of genetics really came from Gregor Mendel and not from Darwin..The science of genetics involves changes in genes of humans and in viruses and bateria and these changes are not always toward improving the progeny. So In Genetics relating to micro organisms there exist both evolution and interaction of which involve recombination of genes. So genetics would involve evolution as well as inverse evolution. None of this resembles the Darwin derived theory of evolution.

I don't belive it's truth. but if someone was going to believe in it it basically it would work like this:
Darwin says that evolution is the concept that embodies the belief that existing animals and plants developed by a process of gradual, continuous change from previously existing forms. This theory, also known as descent with modification, constitutes organic evolution. Inorganic evolution, on the other hand, is concerned with the development of the physical universe from unorganized matter. Organic evolution, as opposed to belief in the special creation of each individual species as an immutable form, conceives of life as having had its beginnings in a simple primordial protoplasmic mass (probably originating in the sea) from which, through the long eras of time, arose all subsequent living forms

Picture this Gary. Suppose a group of animals is divided into 2 and they go on their own ways. Each group evolves independent of each other. Each animal is able to breed with its previous generation if it wants to. But after a million years, when we bring the 2 groups together, one group is no longer able breed with the other. In other words, they have become two distinct species. That is one possible way for getting 2 species from a single species

Yes. Well supported by over 100 years of peer reviewed science.
or- you could believe that god created the universe in 7 days, about 6,000 years ago, 2500 years after the Babylonians figured out how to brew beer.

Do you mean change in the frequency of alleles in populations of organisms from generation to generation? Yes, this happens.
If you're talking about the idea that one animal changes into another animal, this has never been observed or tested and does not happen. http://www.evolutionisimpossible.com/
Grass always produces more grass, an apple tree always comes from it's seed, birds always give birth to more birds, dogs give birth to dogs and humans always have human babies. This is a proven, observed and time-tested law and not a theory or idea.

Sure its real...species undergo changes over time to adapt to their environment...the problem is that it is measured in geologic time, so you don't actually see this happening.
