A laptop is a portable computer which you can carry around. Toshiba is the producer such as producer's of name HP, Philips,etc. I am not sure about what you are asking, but the best laptops I believe are HPs, she should have gotten one of those.

It's just a standard laptop computer. Also known as a notebook computer. "Toshiba" is just the brand/manufacturer, and "Satellite" is just the model of the computer.

it is a laptop computer. they had them on sale at best buy for $250 last weekend. they were sold out by the time I got there. they vary in cost depending upon what you add to it.
