I received an invitation to apply for a job with an online news site called USAVoice.org. Does anybody have and valid information about this organization they could share with me? Any information is greatly appreciated.

I just looked at their web site - not much information about themselves. Did they contact you first? The website has no contact information, just that "apply for a job" form. The "Rip-off" report site has the below info:

I have received the same email... and will do what I can to dig up what I can, however, there is a contigent of peopele that have obviously been done wrong OR are worried about competition in the marketplace. I will say that if it is a "work-from-home" venture, that I will stay away from it; not because it could be a scam, but working from home takes the fun out of employment. Realize one thing for me:

If you are looking for employment, ~85% of job seekers find work via some sort of networking... friends, family, etc...

Your resume on a internet site is scanned at a speed unfathomable, by a computer that doesn't know you from Tom, Dick, or Harry, for a job that you know nothing about, headquartered in an intangible marketplace, such as the Internet. Most internet-based companies with ANY clout have no problem with the consumer knowing how to contact them, or where they are located ( in the event you want to do a drive-by egging).

I hope this helps! I work for an employment consulting firm, and I see this ALL the time!
