i know the whole deal about celebs being rich, and famous etc.
but do you really think its fair that they get special advantages over us just because they're famous?
take kylie minogue for example. as much as i love kylie, when she was in hospital, she had a whole ward to herself. everyone else from that ward got kicked out, and moved somewhere else. i mean, she only needs a bed for goodness sakes. not a whole ward. and .. there is such a thing as a waiting list for normal people, but how did she get treated so quickly? hmm ..
this sort of thing is not fair. they shouldnt get treated like they're better then us.

you know what? i think you have a GREAT point.
yes, celebrities are famous, and yes, most of the time they're popular, and people get all excited when they see one.....
but they're still humans, aren't they?
just humans who are used to living a life of wealth and fame.
So why is there such a difference between normal people like us and celebrities like them?
I didn't hear about the kylie minogue hospital thing, but now that you tell me, yes, it's very unfair that just because she's popular and loved means us normal people can get kicked out of wards so that the nurses and the doctors can fawn over her and care for her and ask for her signature.
and it's not just celebrities. it's just... rich people.
for example.... america said that all men are created equal, right? well, if you were to commit a crime and you were to hire a lawyer.... a richer person would have a better chance of getting off, because he could afford top-class lawyers, while a poor person would have to stick with whatever lawyer the government supplies him/her with.
isn't that a bit unfair too?
i love my celebrities, and all, but i agree with you.
they should not abuse their position; and this, i believe, is a form of such abuse.
hope this helps!

The whole world is obsessed with celebs and what they are doing. I think when it all comes down to it MONEY TALKS! Obviously people without money don't matter, that's the American way as far as I can see it! By the way, why do they make all that money for doing nothing but entertaining and every day people with jobs that MAKE the world go around work for pennies! So why do they get treated like that? Because society allows and encourages it!

As you know people are greedy. I bet she paid extra money just to get treated first... or she told the doctors she had something else to do any other time.

As long as mindless people worship them like Gods, they will get special treatment. People are sheep, and have to live vicariously through celebrities. It's really pathetic.

I don't agree with it either, but that's the way the world works; the more money you have, the more you get away with. And it's not only celebritites, either; it's rich people period.
