I permed my hair and the next week I found out I was three weeks pregnant. Did I harm the baby?

Baby will be okay! I wanted to perm my hair while I was preg. because I was starting to lose my other perm, so I called 2 different doc. to get 2 oppinions and they both told me to do it in the open air so that I would not smell all of the fumes. But your baby will be fine don't worry!
I did perm my hair and my baby is okay but my hair did not turn out very well alot of it would not curl because of pregnancy

It depends on your race on what you think about that. Personally black women don't usually get a lot of perms when they are pregnant because we usually get them every 2 weeks or once a month. I wouldn't get more then 4 while being pregnant. It was an old saying that the chemicals could hurt the baby. Its not proven. Ask a doctor to be sure. Congrats on the baby!

It is advised not to chemically process your hair while pregnant. As long as you don't do it again until you deliver you should probably be ok. I wouldn't worry about it too much. People have done a lot worse and some how ended up with healty babies.

no you did not harm your baby there has not been any test proven that a woman should not get her hair permed or colored while pregnant stop worrying

no usually people ask this when the have been drinking and so on and then they find out there preg its Earlie enough it wont harm the baby just dont do any thing from now on and good luck
