There are many programs that find spyware.

One thing to remember, no single program is the end-all beat-all of anti-spyware. No one program will get everything.

If you thing you're infected, run as many as you can find.

Spybot is very good, but check out these others...

Microsoft Defender http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

Ewido http://www.ewido.net

Ad-Aware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/

Or try any others suggested here.

Thesafetytool.com is a home page hijacker that is installed by a trojan called Zlob which masquerades as media codec. You probably tried to watch some video clip and were directed to download the fake codec, after which the trojan infected your PC. To remove it, download and scan your PC with SpyNoMore, it seems to be the most accurate program in detecting zlob infections.

By the way it is not free, but then again you should really question any so-called free solution. Isn't that how your computer got infected in the first place?!. The free scan will only check your system and show you the infections. If you choose to remove them, be prepared to pay.

TheSafetyTool (thesafetytool.com and thesafetytool.net) is a computer hijack that is the result of the ZLOB Trojan. The ZLOB Trojan is a trojan disguised as a media codec. It infects computers and generates warning messages announcing the infection, then directs users to download fake anti-spyware and anti-virus products from a host of websites among which is thesafetytool.com. ZLOB Trojan promotes several rogue products such as Pest Wipe, Virus Burst, Virus burster, WinAntiSpyware, Virus Blast, SpywareStrike, SpyAxe, SpyTrooper, Malware Wipe, Adware Punisher, Spy iBlock and SpyGuard. It is highly recommended to remove thesafetytool trojan as it also transfers information from the infected computer to unknown servers which makes it a potential for data theft. By removing the Zlob trojan, you also rid your computer of thesafetytool.com hijacker.

You can manual remove it by using the below link and there you can find all the information abut it.

Go into tools>Internet options and type in your homepage>click apply, click OK and close the window then reboot in safe mode (press F8) as soon as windows starts to come on and run spy bot search and destroy again! Also do a search for any files with the name and delete! Peace!
