Yes I love music and favorite band is the Trans-Siberian Ocherestra and the music matters. If Fall Out boy came to my town, I would still care about the back up people because drum player can actually play pretty good in thier song "dance,Dance" Wich the sybal part make the song worth while

To be honest Most of those shows are lip synced by the second half of the concert and generally you can't hear the singer i the first half anyway.

It does matter a little because the opener is supposed to get you even more pumped to see the headliner, so if it's someone boring, then it doesn't enhance the experience to its fullest potential.
